How to fix a DS lite that won't turn on? Just blinks for a second then turns off.?

You see I've had my DS for about a year now and now it won't turn on. I did spill OJ on it 2 months before, but it just now stopped working. I waited 3 weeks for a battery to come in, and tried a new battery, but still the same problem. What should I do, is there any way I can fix it myself?
