Ghost trying to tell me something?

I have seen this ghoost numerous of times in my house. when he comes i can smell him and a cold chill comes across me when im sitting by my fireplace. not until yesterday has he been contacting the most though.I saw him yesterday face to face he told me about my best friend. that night he was in my room and i believe he was trying to tell me something about my friend because a picture of her popped into my head and then disappeared. when i fell asleep i had a numerous dreams about her. i decided to text my friend to tell her of this ghost. she said that she experienced dreams but of me and had felt chilled all night. I am wondering if it is possible that this ghost is trying to tell me something about her and had wanted me to contact her about. Any help or suggestions are appreciated thanks
