Would the Republican Party kick out Barry Goldwater today?

Barry Goldwater would kick out the Republican party. He believed in the right for a woman to have an abortion. He believed that gays were being discriminated against, etc. He would consider himself a conservative Democrat, but most definitely NOT a Republican
